General information
- Name of the company
- Name and phone number of the contact person
- Shipping address and billing address
- Network information of the media player (as follows)
Network information
1. Will the media player be connected to a wired or wireless network?
If wireless, provide the following information:
- Wlan SSID i.e. name of the network
- Encryption type of the network (open, wep, wpa/wpa2)
- Network password
- Notice, that the network must not have a browser-based sign in
2. Is a proxy needed for the device to be connected to the internet?
If needed, what is the address of the proxy?
- Proxy address
3. Are static IP-addresses needed for the media player or is DHCP being used?
If static IP-addresses are needed, provide the following information:
- IP
- Mask
- Gateway
- DNS1
- DNS2
FirstView Manager settings
- Name of the organization
- Name of the department
- Name of the display group / media list
Tips for naming
The Organization is suggested to be named after the name of the company/organization (e.g. Company X)
The Department after the location of the office (e.g. Company X London)
The display group after the physical location of the display(s) (e.g. Hallway)
